Henry Vargas brings nearly three decades in transportation, with a career that began in 1997 and progressed through equipment release, dispatch, operations management, driver services, and safety leadership. His intermodal experience gives him a practical understanding of chassis handoffs, port requirements, equipment condition, and the daily decisions drivers and dispatchers face when preparing equipment for the road.
At PassPRO, Henry applies that background to inspection readiness, intermodal compliance, driver coaching, roadside follow-up, and maintenance records. His work includes driver qualification, hours of service, DataQs and crash-preventability reviews, accident investigation, and telematics. He helps fleet teams turn equipment findings and safety data into clear operational duties, useful training, and documented action throughout the operation.
Henry completed CVSA’s Industry Roadside Vehicle Inspection Training Course and serves as Second Vice Chairman of the Texas Trucking Association Safety Management Council. He also serves in leadership with the Houston Council of Safety Professionals and received the 2025 Joe M. Atkinson Distinguished Safety Professional of the Year award. His focus is making safety improvements practical for fleet teams.
